The Media Talents Association encourages young people to creatively utilize their free time by acquiring new skills, primarily through media expression and creation. Simultaneously, we foster the development of critical thinking and work on promoting social values, as evidenced by our video materials.
It all began in late 2015 when a group of teachers from the Craft and Industrial Building School in Zagreb, enthusiasts, decided to embark on a project to establish the first craft-oriented television, primarily aimed at promoting craft professions by the students themselves. Due to children’s significant interest in this form of expression, the idea of founding the Media Talents youth association emerged, with the aim of making it more accessible in the community.
The Founding Assembly of the Media Talents Association Zagreb was held on January 22, 2016, and it received its resolution on February 18, 2016. Among other resources, it utilizes the School’s premises, and the recorded materials are visible through YouTube channels and social media platforms. The Craft and Industrial Building School immediately recognized the idea as beneficial, engaging, innovative, and essential for promoting the School and its professions, thus establishing collaboration, and since then, ‘Majstori’ (Masters) and ‘Media Talents’ have successfully cooperated
